Fast paced action platformer, inspired by Katana Zero and metroidvania combat. For getting the  best feeling from this game I recommend playing it in its normal level... Also, you can download the demo for windows for a more immersive experience!

You'd embark on a journey to save the Sacred Forest, a magical forest in which different creatures live but now attacked by the Selinam kingdom to steal the powers of these creatures stealing also its peace. Help the forest to rescue their leaders and get stronger with their help!

If you like the game please consider leaving a comment and your best scores after you clear the game, mine was 26 kills, 0 deaths in 04:09 minutes, can you beat me?. I'd also love to hear any feedback from you guys!

Note: there is an annoying bug where sometimes after being killed you won't get the dying message and won't be able to respawn, for that I created a restart button on the pause menu (ESC key).

The download should work fine by itself on windows, but could have problems with your antivirus at first until it realizes it won't damage your computer.

If you ever want to see someone suffer for 20 minutes in a row... Here, please, I made a letsplay!

What I like:

  • A lot of funny different comments from the author every time you die (but sometimes I wish they were more encouraging, ahah)
  • The feeling of the author's presence, as if a friend is sitting next to me and watching me play
  • Bosses introduce themselves, not just show up

Suggetions:

  • I used to jump by pressing the space bar, so it was difficult to retrain. Maybe it would be a good idea to give the player a choice of keys to control
  • I think it wasn't easy to create so many different comments, but I would be glad to see even more, because in this game one of the features is to get a comment, and when you constantly die, you start missing frequently repeated phrases

When I learned to jump, I went to the left side at the beginning of the level and find... nothing! I want a reward, ahaha

Hey! thanks a lot for the nice review! I'll take some time to create more discouraging messages (I'm evil so I'm keeping them evil hahaha) and I'll study how to make configurable controllers, it's true that is annoying if you're used to different buttons!

When i kill the golem boss, im going back to spawn, weird game but cool.

That's supposed to be the main area you're trying to protect, from there you go to different areas which were invaded :) maybe it feels odd since there aren't more levels :(
